Arnhem is a city in the province of
Gelderland situated in the eastern part of the Netherlands. It
is located near the river Nederrijn as well as near the St. Jansbeek,
which was the source of the city's development. The Groote Kerk
built between 14521560, lost most of its tower during World
War II, a part of which has been reconstructed to a modern design
and opened in 1964. The National Heritage Museum (Nederlands
Openluchtmuseum) is located outside the city. It is an open air
